Cat-only grooming in Middleburg, Florida

Skilled, Quick Cat Grooms

Our cats are bathed in a cat-specific tub, sized and set up for a cat's body and nerves — not a dog tub a cat has to rattle around in. And everything that touches your cat is made for cats: cat-formulated shampoos and products, never dog products. That matters more than most people realize — a cat's skin is thinner than a dog's and far more reactive, and cats can't process some ingredients dogs handle easily (tea tree oil and dog flea products with permethrin can genuinely poison a cat). Add that cats lick everything off their own coat, and “close enough for dogs” stops being close enough. Cat tub, cat products, cat-trained hands — start to finish.

Lion Cut, a styling example

Health maintenance first: our haircuts are sanitary haircuts. When a cut is already a health necessity, a lion style is one way it can look good.

Rescue Kitten Baths — $20

New rescue? First baths matter. Our Kitten Rescue Bath is a gentle, unhurried first groom for rescued kittens — a warm bath, a soft blow-dry, and a careful once-over while they're small enough to learn that being handled is safe. Starting a kitten's grooming life with patience instead of fear is health care, not pampering — and at $20, it's priced so every rescue can afford a good beginning.

Why Cats Need a Specialist

Cat skin is only a few cell layers thick in places and measurably thinner than dog skin, and it's loose: it tents, folds, and slides into clipper blades and gets pulled up inside mats, where you can't see where fur ends and skin begins. That's why cat grooming is a technique of its own — blade kept flat, skin held smooth and taut, small visible areas at a time, and never, ever scissors near a mat. It's also why our cat setup is separate: a cat-specific tub that keeps a cat secure and calm in the bath, and cat-only products chosen for skin that reacts to things a dog would shrug off. Different animal, different skin, different craft.

Guala's recovery: why skin-and-coat care matters

Guala came to us as a kitten with ringworm and extensive hair loss. With care, he recovered fully and is a happy, healthy cat today.
